The weather wire,
straight to your screen.
StormSync VT/OI plugs directly into the NOAA Weather Wire Service Open Interface (NWWS-OI), the same live feed running behind TV broadcast desks and emergency operations centers. Warnings hit your screen in under one second, fully decoded, color coded by severity, and announced by tiered audio tones you will recognize without looking up.
Built like a broadcast tool.
Priced like a hobby.
Every part of StormSync exists to get critical information in front of you faster and cleaner than anything else a civilian operator can run. Click through the console, or let it walk itself.
Do not take our word for it.
Play with it right here.
These are working recreations of two core parts of the app, wired together on this page. Recolor a tier in the palette and watch the warning cards and the wire ticker above repaint themselves instantly. That is exactly how the real settings panel behaves.
Your colors, everywhere, instantly.
Every major alert tier has an individually assignable accent color. Pick a new one and it applies across the entire interface immediately, no restart, and persists between sessions. Sixteen tiers, from Tornado Emergency all the way down to Wind Advisory.
Every alert, one readable card.
Each incoming product renders as a structured card: issuing office, timestamp, full classification, affected county or zone, and its numeric severity rank from 1 to 115. The glowing accent stripe pulls from your palette, and warning polygons draw on the map in the same color.
Straight from live sessions.

What just shipped.
StormSync moves fast. Here is the latest release in full.
- Central NWWS-OI Mode: A new connection mode that lets anyone receive instant NWWS-OI alerts without needing their own credentials. The developer's account connects to NWWS-OI, receives the raw alert stream, and forwards that raw data to the app, where it is parsed locally. No user credentials are ever involved.
- Stream Tab: A dedicated tab introducing three new stream elements for use with broadcasting software, alongside major fixes to existing ones. More fixes and additions are planned with every upcoming patch.
- Functional SPC Archive: The archive now reaches as far back as 2003.
- GUI Color Refresh: Interface colors updated to better match the website's design language.
- New Settings: Enable notifications individually for every type of severe alert, and assign sound effects across the board.
- SPC Watches: Now display probability information alongside other associated hazards.
- Connection Reliability: Fixed connection problems that were causing alerts to not show up.
- General Stability: A round of smaller bug fixes throughout the app.
